Lawmakers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) extraction in the Senate and House of Reps to meet Today Monday.

  Lawmakers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) extraction in the Senate and the Federal House of Representatives will meet on Monday to deliberate on the crisis rocking the party which has threatened the forth-coming National Convention of the party. 
A release jointly signed by the Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio and his counterpart in the House of Representatives, Hon. Leo Ogor disclosed that the joint meeting of the lawmakers ‎would hold at the House of Representatives' complex, Abuja. 
According to the conveners of the joint session, ‎the sole agenda of the meeting would be the review of the State of the party against the backdrop of the forth-coming National Convention of the party. They said attendance is mandatory. 
Sources however, disclosed that the lawmakers may also deliberate on the recent fuel price hike and take a position that would reflect their collective stance on the issue of the fuel subsidy. 
The House of Representatives ‎would re-convene on Monday to also deliberate on the recent deregulation of the petroleum downstream sector in Nigeria.
