Hard Work Pays- Hon Pwajok

The chairman House of Representatives committee on Human Rights, Hon. Edward Pwajok said his present status as Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is as a result of hard work and dedication.

The senior advocate who spoke to Hallowmace reporter said it takes a lot of hard work to attain the height he is.

"It is a mark of excellence and it comes with a lot of responsibilities.
Infact, I give God the glory because it is every one's aspiration".

while speaking on the issue of arrest of judges by the Directorate of State Security Services (DSS), he said the security agency erred in the mode they conducted the arrest of the seven judges.

According to him, "nobody will feel happy if his or her rights are trampled upon".

He described the arrest as a form of impunity and gangsterism displayed by the executive.

Hon. Pwajok also enjoined Nigerians not to lose hope in the judiciary because majority of the judges are not corrupt, that the judges accused of corruption have not been pronounced guilty and until a competent court of jurisdiction says other wise.


He further said, the parliament will continue to make laws for the good governance of the country.

"We must not loss hope and take up arms. We would come up with bills and make laws that will be of best interest for the country", Pwajok submitted.
