Senate President, Dr.
Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has expressed grief over the demise of the
Chairman of Chanchangi Airlines and foremost businessman, Alhaji Ahmadu
Chanchangi, who he described as an accomplished
entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Saraki in a statement
by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, said the
late Chanchangi would be missed for his philanthropy, diligence,
management finesse and humble lifestyle.
He said Chanchangi
would be remembered as one of the nation's great men who grew from a
humble beginning to become a highly respected international figure
through dint of hard work.
He commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased, especially his son, Honourable Rufai Chanchangi, a member of the 8th House of
Representatives, the people and governments of both Kaduna and Taraba States.
While praying Allah
to grant the soul of the departed a place in Aljanah Firdaus, Saraki
called on his family to take solace in the fact that Chanchangi lived a
highly impactful life worthy of emulation.
