Hon.Yingi representing Burutu asks Govt to Dialogue with NDA...........
The member representing Burutu one constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Daniel Yingi has urged the Federal government to engage major stakeholders in the Niger Delta region in a meaningful dialogue so as to find a lasting solution to the renewed oil pipelines bombing in the region.
Hon Yingi who stated this while fielding questions from newsmen in Asaba, insisted that the current attack on oil pipelines by the Niger Delta Avengers and other new militant groups could only be resolved through dialogue.
On what he has done in the first one year of the 6th Assembly, the lawmaker said he was committed to the business of law making for the betterment of his constituents and the state in general.
He said he raised good motions and contributed meaningfully to debates on bills that would engender good governance in the state on the floor of the House.
While assuring his constituents of his commitment to his empowerment program, Hon Yingi appealed to the people to be patient, saying that everybody cannot be empowered at same time in view of the present economic situation.
The lawmaker disclosed that he had recently embarked on distribution of school furnitures across the institutions in his constituency as well as uniforms and school bags to pupils and students in the locality.
Hon Yingi assured that all his constituents, particularly the youths, women and elderly would benefit from his empowerment program before 2019.
The lawmaker enjoined the people to give him and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa the needed support to be able to deliver on their mandates.
